The Xiaoguangshan Mining Area is located in Shijing Town, Nan'an City, Fujian Province. The total resources of the project are 60.393 million cubic meters, and the construction content of the project includes mining infrastructure construction, mining, and comprehensive utilization. The joint venture of Fujian Yuhua and China Second Metallurgical Group won the bid in April 2019, with a total investment of over 300 million yuan in mining equipment and a designed annual output of about 20 million tons of crushed stone and mechanism sand. According to the Notice of the Fujian Provincial Department of Land and Resources and the Fujian Provincial Department of Housing and Urban Rural Development on Accelerating the Transfer of Mining Rights for Mechanized Sand Projects, this project has been included in the Fujian Province Mechanized Sand Supporting Mine Project and will be developed into the largest mechanized sand production base in Fujian Province.
The Xiaoguangshan project transforms high-quality granite from the original ore into high-end stone, comprehensively utilizes slag materials to produce high-quality sand and stone aggregate products. In response to the high amount of weathered sand on the mountain, a customized water washing sand production line is designed to directly wash the high sand content parts, and strictly control the mud content and other indicators of the finished product. After shaping, the mechanism sand particle shape and gradation are better. The Xiaoguangshan Phase I project uses a complete set of equipment from Shunda Heavy Mine, including 1 1400 cycle breaker, 8 cone breakers, and 4 vertical axis impact breakers. After three-stage crushing and shaping, the fineness modulus of the finished machine sand is around 2.8-3.0. After washing, the particle size distribution, water content, and mud content of the machine sand are controllable, making it particularly suitable for key projects such as highways and high-speed railways.
